When I started to do business on the Internet almost thirteen years ago there were only a few website authoring or building products available. In order to create a website you really needed to know some HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) in order to navigate your way through the program. It was tedious and frustrating and I spent many hours just getting up the simplest website. I remember feeling proud and embarrassed all at the same time. Proud because I was able to actually do it and embarrassed because it was so unprofessional.

Starting in the late 90’s and the early part of this decade many improvements and developments were made and the first WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) programs appeared. They were better but still lacked the simplicity for an average individual to create and easily publish a website. Consistency was the bigest issue, getting your site to look the same in different browsers and operating systems.

A few years ago I was online reading an article and it spoke of XSite Pro being a new generation of website building tools that would change the web authoring landscape. I have always been an early adopter and purchased my first XSite Pro version 1. I was blown away. After literally suffering through other programs and building one mediocre website, I realized that I could build dozens of high quality websites with XSite Pro in less time than it normally took to create one.

The early version of XSite Pro was light years ahead of the competition. It changed the approach to creating websites to something the average person could understand. You no longer needed to be a certidfied HTML programmer to get professional results. Making changes and adding functions could be accomplished with a few clicks and viewed immediately on your desktop before publishing. I have to say I was totally hooked on XSP.

A few years ago the developers at XSite Pro announced a completely new version of their award winning program. Since I had such great results with the first version of XSP I wanted to see what XSP 2 was all about. The features list was impressive. Creating payment acceptance from within the program was a new and attractive feature. Creating and displaying RSS feeds was another function as well as many more that are really too numerous to go into here.

The best part of XSite Pro is that no matter where you are in terms of technical knowledge you will appreciate the simple functionality that the product has. If you build one page sales letters or 100 page sites XSite Pro can manage both easily and effortlessly.

I can’t begin to tell you all of the great features of XSite Pro 2 but I’ve put a link to the features page for you to get more information. The other feature I think that you will really appreciate is the cost, it’s really within reach of most all website business owners and marketers. By the way if you are a website marketer building one page sales pages. You will appreciate the ease and speed of creating sales pages in XSite Pro. Did I mention that there are dozens of Sales page, affiliate and small business templates built into to XSP 2?

Check out the functionality of XSite Pro, and do yourself a big favor in saving time and money building your sales pages and websites. There’s a link below to the features page of XSP, you’ll be happy you did.

Check out he features page for XSite Pro 2 to see a complete listing of all of the XSP 2 features. Already sold? Go directly to the XSP 2 purchase page. You will not be sorry that you did.

How to Approach Possible Small Business Opportunities

If you are an entrepreneur out looking for a small business opportunity, it is certainly a good time to be alive. Since the rise of internet businesses, there have been fewer and fewer limitations for someone with a great idea. No matter the type of business you are considering, you should be sure to do your homework and avoid the mistakes common to many startups.

The ideal small business will be in a field close to the owner’s heart. Anyone who wants to launch a small business should ask him/herself these questions: First, what do I think about when I wake up in the morning? In so many words, you will be asking yourself what drives you. Second, ask yourself what type of risk you are willing to make. Would you risk everything you had in order to make the business work? This question will help to guide the direction of your business. There is nothing wrong with treating a business as strictly money. In fact, it may allow you to be more flexible along the way.

If you are initiating a project nearer and dearer to your heart, certain advantages will appear. In terms of waking up and dreading a day at the office, it will be unlikely to encounter such mornings. The material you are working with will come easily, and your level of expertise will have a natural appeal to clients and employees alike. Issues may arise in different departments. For perfectionists used to being the authority in a company (e.g. an IT Specialist), there may be a lot to learn as far as people skills are concerned. Confidence in your approach is essential, but you have to beware of alienating clients with inflexibility.

If you are looking for a strictly money-making project, then something like a franchise might be ideal for you. This type of business comes ready-made, with the business model and product completely tested and proven in the marketplace. If you have a natural business sense, you should be able to get a franchise up and running smoothly. The challenge will be learning the ins and outs of the product itself. For example, running a fast food franchise will be difficult for someone not experienced in the kitchen, beyond the customer service and management issues.

When considering the different small business opportunities available, always have a plan ready in case your project fails. Give yourself a window in which you can get back on your feet and start over. Think of it as a safety net.

Small business opportunities pop up all over the place. You may find an opportunity online which sounds great, or simply see the need for a new business in your community.

Even if your first project doesn’t have the type of success you expected, there is no reason to be discouraged. Every successful business owner has had his/her share of failure.

No matter what happens, the joy of starting a small business comes back to independence. You begin and end the day as the master of your own domain.
